The best part of my work is deciding new colours to add to my range of yarn and this past week has been, coincidentally, all about colour so far. KB Cotton is my 'bi-sexual' yarn, as I'm developing it with men knitters in mind, too. I think back to the time when men and women were both romantic, pretty, preening and bejewelled.

It's really hard to keep intensely personal choices out of the equation when trying to put together a good range of shades, which is hard as different countries have different preferences. Either I have to throw my personal preference down peoples' throats or I have to embrace a little of everything for everyone.

| KB Indulge Kid Mohair in Jade, Ruby, Ivory and the new Safir Purple and Dovegrey. |
I try not to be discriminating of colours because if a colour carries a memory, has a story or reminds me of a flower then I can't be mean to it, can I?
